Time is implicit part of XRML - pages are viewed in a sequence, but since the sequence is not predetermined, the time-frame is in-determinate. In the old printed version of XRML page followed page, you could explicitly drill through the same spot on each page and (potentially) see a sequence of text-events.
With indeterminate sequence, this is not possible.
