Run through charNG, I think. I built up a source text some months ago, and I don’t remember the details. Tsk tsk tsk.

This is a rough-draft, including the display markup.

I’ve liked Apocalypse now since I caught bits of it on broadcast TV sometime in the 1980s?

I finally saw it entire on a date (!!!) during college. You know: on VHS cassette.

Years later, I fiddled with the idea of doing it live on stage, solo, with toys as props. Not GI Joes and Barbies and guns, no — but with stuffed animals, etc. Maybe cars and boats. But fluffy cute things saying the dialogue, etc. With potted plants, humidifiers running and the heat turned up. Probably just as well it never went to fruition.

Scripts

The web floats several variations on scripts — early drafts, working copy, transcripts, redux, etc.

1975 draft

1979 script – appears to be a transcript (contains almost only dialogue)

Redux – says it is a transcription, but includes lots of notes.

The 1969 draft surfaced in early 2011. Cannot find it online.
