BERLIN (Reuters) – A German actress was taken to hospital after an artist injured her breasts while trying to cut open her bra with a chainsaw during a rehearsal for a stage show, she has told a newspaper.

“It was the worst moment of my life. I thought, Sibylle, you’re going to die,” the actress, former porn star Sibylle Rauch, 43, told Bild newspaper.

The chainsaw operator, performance artist Marko Koenig, said Rauch was lying down during the rehearsal on Monday and suddenly bent forward just as he was applying the saw to her bra.

“I couldn’t pull back the chainsaw quickly enough and cut her breast and stomach. It was terrible,” he told Bild. The hospital in Karlsruhe, southwest Germany, where Rauch was treated declined to give details of her injuries. “We are not authorised to comment on our patients,” a spokesman said.

Mr. K?nig’s company, Eventshow, has this to say (via a Google translation):

The actress (“ice at the handle”) overcame the shock of her accident with partner and action artist Marko king. “Marko does not meet a debt, it was although more terrible an industrial accident. Marko could avoid thanks of experience of many years worse “. “the wounds do not do already any longer pain and I hope in such a way that no visible scars remain”, so the artist in the long term. Shortly Sibylle smoke and action artist Marko king continue with the samples to the “Kettensaegenshow” and the concept “ice to Stiel” party and are ready for new spectacular appearances. Also the two want to show the famous BH number.

KONONO N°1 was founded over 25 years ago by Mingiedi, a virtuoso of the likembé (a traditional instrument sometimes called “sanza” or “thumb piano”, consisting of metal rods attached to a resonator). The band’s line-up includes three electric likembés (bass, medium and treble), equipped with hand-made microphones built from magnets salvaged from old car parts, and plugged into amplifiers. There’s also a rhythm section which uses traditional as well as makeshift percussion (pans, pots and car parts), three singers, three dancers and a sound system featuring these famous megaphones.
