Jealous of all the emacs-users who customize their display at the drop of a hat? Want to change how things look in your propprietary editing environment?

Check out StudioStyl.es for some great pre-built options

Works in Express, too.

Addins

Error 8013150a when attempting to install Addin

Your Addins folder is probably in MyDocuments/Visual Studio 2005/Addins as is standard
BUT Divintech’s MyDocuments folder is on a network drive, and Visual Studio will not load addins from a Network drive

Solution: store your addins folder on a local drive, and point VS to the folder

  1. Copy the folder locally
  2. go to Tools >> Options >> Environment >> Addin/Macro Security
  3. add the path of your Addins folder
  4. restart VS
  5. go to Tools >> Addins Manager and select the Addin
