Since there is a win32-native tool called “find
”, you will need to add the Gnu Win 32 directory to your PATH prior to the Windows dirs.
of particular interest is the Core Utilities (CoreUtils) package, Diff Utils, Find Utils, and Grep
Seriously. You need these, if you want a sane shell.
There is an automated downloader tool, but I don’t have much experience with it.
TODO: much of this stuff is bundled with the cmder shell I now use (cc 2014+).
