M-x w3m-link-numbering-mode RET
- Then links get numbers attached, which you can use to navigate, e.g.

emacs/web integration with w3m one person’s journey. I followed his notes on building (except for the packaging thing), and it worked -- although 4 files failed to byte-compile for me. octet.el, mime-w3m.el, w3m-ucs.el as he referenced, as well as mew-w3m.el. It works again, happy day! Although bullets are gone again....
MOSTLY works -- still some strangeness.
not in a couple of years? Google changed something, th’ bums.
UPDATE: use mobile version - also reports that the HTML mode works, although I could not replicate success. Also see for other mobile apps.
The instructions at w3m homepage didn’t work for me -- I had to add the
w3m. after the
(hit Enter to the password request)
cvs -d :pserver:firstname.lastname@example.org:/cvsroot/w3m checkout w3m

gc from somewhere
